Congratulations to the competitors who made it to the winners rostrum and a special word of thanks to all who participated each day, thereby making this tournament the best supported Tournament in the Province. The 3 game 'qualifing' format once again proved very popular with all the competitors, as was the 'finals' knockout stages for the bowling 'purists'. The action at times was fast and furious, yet it remained very friendly but highly competitive during this festival of bowls hosted on the greens of Ward Park, Pickie, Holywood and Donaghadee.
The Tournament is once again indebted to Spectator Newspapers and Teddy's Bar & Grill for their continuing sponsorship and to N.D.B.C. Leisure & Tourism for their assistance in staging this event.
